"I speak less than you" is correct. We use "fewer" to make comparisons about quantity of things (i.e. with nouns) but more / less with verbs.

what about telling " I speak less than you do In the class " or " I speak fewer than you do in the class " I am confused about this .

Both "a lot of" and "lots" of mean the same thing.

You can use them with plural and uncountable nouns, for positive and negative sentences, as well as questions.

"I have a lot of / lots of questions."
