Hi Mohsen, Araghi, Marina, and all Muslims,

How are you? I hope you are fine.

Happy Eid Aladha for you too. I hope to meet you in Mecca soon.

We are happy just because of the action of the prophet Ebrahim. Actually, he has been one of the greatest prophet. When God asked him to sacrifice his boy, he obeyed! There's an important point in his action. He didn't say, "Why? What a silly action!" or something like that! Some people believe that all rules and offers must be logical enough to obey. They often say, "Such and such a thing is not acceptable because it is unreasonable!"

I think, it is very easy for everybody to believe and to accept those things(rules&offers) which are reasonable or logical, but having a strong belief when an offer seems unreasonable is a real faith.

This topic is very philosophical. I am not a philosopher. What I am trying to say is that being happy on a particular day(Eid Aladha for example) is good, but it isn't enough. We have to try to get some lessons from some great people like Ebrahim.

Actions speak louder than words.

I hope to hear more from you soon.

All the best,
Behnam, 8 December, 2008

Hi NANA,

How are you? I hope you are okay.

Thank you for your question. I will answer it as complete as possible, but later.

For now, Eid-Ul-Adha is a religious festival that Muslims celebrate at the end of the haj in order to remember that the Prophet Ibrahim was willing to kill his son for Allah.

I hope to hear more from you soon.

All the best,

Dear Behnam

Thank you for your profound knowledgably writing, you sent us your message to be not indifferent toward our prophets actions and apparently show ourselves happy.

How to get lessons from our prophets to be aware of inside, self, and out side ,people, and react like what our prophets acted.
Send greeting to Abraham, Moses, Jesus and the last one Mohammed -PBU them. and asking God to guide Us

Thanks also for the happiness message of my dear friends Mr. Arghi and Ms. Marina

Good luck,
Mohsen

Don't Change The World!

Once upon a time, there was a king who ruled a prosperous country. One day, he went for a trip to some distant areas of his country. When he was back to his palace, he complained that his feet were very painful, because it was the first time that the king went for such a long trip, and the road that he went through was very rough and stony. He then ordered his people to cover every road of the entire country with leather!

Definitely, this would need thousands of cows' skin, and would cost a huge amount of money.

Then one of his wise servants dared himself to tell the king, "Why do you have to spend that unnecessary amount of money? Why don't you just cut a little piece of leather to cover your feet?"

The king was surprised, but he later agreed to his suggestion to make a "shoe" for himself.

There is actually a valuable lesson of life in this story:

To make this world a happy place to live, you better change yourself, your heart; and not the world.

I hope to read more from you soon.

Kind Regards,

Dear Behnam,

I have red your last story,it's very good. You tell us a simple but neglected rule----you should change yourself to adapt to the sociaty. Some of my friends often complain their job is boring, their salary is loss, the sociaty is unfair.Others can drive a sports car and live in a villa except them. However they don't want to change their situation. They don't think why was that.Because it needs cost. They change themselves at the cost of our energyï¼?leisureï¼?money so they wouldn't and wish the world can change for them one day.

For me ,i think i need to change for now and for my future.Thank you for reminding.

Best wish

Dear Behnam,

Thanks for your beautiful story. The first lessen of this story confirms the cruelty and injustice of kings. I got a lessen from this story that a king never think about prosperity of his country except when it is for his benefit .Making the roads well enough because the king felt a pain in his feet. So, pattern of life changed when a king feels something painful or unpleasant and Vs.

Another lessen is to achieve your goal choosing the shortest way and less expensive way.

The next lessen is consulting a problem with a counselor, if the king consulted his problem with his adviser, never issued such a silly order.

B. Wishes
Mohsen
