Which of these words ("use", "usage") is correct?
The English to Russian dictionary tells me that:
"use" [ju:z] - verb;
"use" [ju:s] - noun.
The thing is that I often met the word "usage" used as a noun, but the dictionary says the "usage" has a little different meaning, which limits some situations when you can use it.
Thank you.
Dmitry

Your dictionary is right. Usage refers to how you use something - in which situations.
